Beatrice Elizabeth Holley
Beatrice Elizabeth Holley (Lee) passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 31, 2020. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Bea as she was lovingly called, she spent her childhood in Bordentown, New Jersey. She was educated in the Bordentown school system and graduated from Trenton State College.
Bea resided in Edgewater Park, New Jersey for the past 48 years.
Bea dedicated her professional career to educating children. She was currently employed by the Pemberton Township Board of Education as a teacher at the Harker-Wylie school.
Throughout her 50 plus years of teaching at Harker-Wylie school, she touched the lives of thousands of students and their parents.
Bea was active in local politics. She was an elected member of the Burlington Country Democratic Committee and served as Recording Secretary.
Bea was a founding charter member of Burlington-Willingboro chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She was currently an Associate Jewel of the Burlington County chapter.
Bea began her religious training while attending Union Baptist Church in Bordentown, New Jersey. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the choir. Later, she joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington, New Jersey and remained a loyal member.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Lester Holley; her children Daria and Kevin; her grandson Kameron; her mother Lucy Lee; and her sisters Darlene Bryant, Regina Sherrill and Lorraine Harrison. She leaves behind a host of family and friends who will always remember Bea for her bubbly personality and her love of designer handbags, scarves and shoes.
Beatrice was predeceased by her father, Deacon Albert Lee; her brothers Frances and Edwin Lee; and her sister Helen Price.
Services will be private due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Darrell E. Smith
Darrell E. Smith was Born April 7, 1962 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He made his transition into eternity on March 18, 2020.
He excepted Christ at an early age becoming a Member of Old Fort Baptist Church, Port Royal SC, where he was active in Sunday School as a student and sometimes teacher/mentor. When he migrated to New Jersey, he joined North Baptist Church in Woodbury, NJ and later Second Baptist Church of Moorestown, NJ.
Darrell E. Smith was preceded in death by his parents George H. Smith and Mable H. Smith, his older half- sister Jennie Graham, and two older brothers Harold L. and Ralph I. Smith.
Darrell leaves in the loving hands of God for comfort and to be cherished: his wife Victoria W. Smith, two daughters Christine E. and Lydia M Smith; a sister Lucy O. Smith of Pennsauken NJ and a Brother Dwight E. Smith of Port Royal, SC; a “Child from God” Delsondra J. Allen of Jacksonville, FL, a very, very, very special cousin Dorothy M. Brown of Port Royal, SC.; Nephews, Harvey, Kenneth, Otto, Reginald, Maurice and Kareem Graham of various locations. A niece Donna and nephew-in-law (James) Pinkney of Port Royal, SC.; a niece Candace West, Brother-in-law Reverend John West, sister-in-law Patricia West of Norristown, PA. Darrell had a vast number of cousins all very special and like siblings, friends all very special and like siblings/family that are left to mourn his transition. Darrell was all about Family! We will Celebrate this life well lived…Gone too soon.

Gerson Alfonso Raines Sr.
Gerson Alfonso Raines Sr. age 83 of Mt. Holly, NJ. passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020. He was born on August 8, 1937 to Rudolph Raigns and Gattie Smith in Halifax County, North Carolina. He was preceeded in death by three siblings: Rudolph Raigns, Jr., Spencer Raigns and Mertie Raigns.

Gerson was educated in the Halifax school system. Upon graduation from high school, Gerson joined the United States Armed Service, He was the recipient of a multitude of awards to include the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Medal with 4 Bronzed Service Stars and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He had 2 tours in Vietnam and retired from Fort Gordon, Ga, after over 21 years of service.
