Robert W. Stafford, Jr., the son of the late Robert W. and Mabel Willis Stafford was born in Mount Holly, NJ and Passed Thursday 4/30/2020. He became a member of the Second Baptist Church Mount Holly at an early age.
​
Robert attended the Mount Holly Township public schools, Rancocas Valley Regional High School and Rutgers University, Camden NJ. He is a graduate of Camden County Vocational school and was a licensed Operating Engineer.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict, spending three years and seven months on the USS Ault DD-698 and was honorably discharged. Robert received several military decorations that include a National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal’s and a United Nations Service Medal.

Robert was employed by the Mount Holly Board of Education and later by Rutgers University, Camden NJ, retiring in 1991. He became a member of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Camden NJ being active in various capacities. He was a member of the St Luke Lodge Free and Ancient Accepted Masons, Camden NJ and Lancers of Burlington County.
​
He was married to his beloved Anna (Henson) for 58 years until her passing in January 2019.
He was predeceased by siblings Freddie, Katherinemarie, Wilbur, Jewel Gail and Ronald.
Robert is survived by his son Garrick Sr. (Dr. Patricia), Brothers Harold (Gloria), Warren (Ethel), Eugene (Joyce), Earl (Amanda), Sisters Joan Norman (Theodore) and Carol Stafford. Grandchildren Garrick Jr. (Paris), Cassandra Stafford and a host of other relatives and friends.
He leaves a legacy of devotion and compassion to family, friends, and service to others.

Keith R. Johnson Sr, 64, of Lumberton, NJ entered eternal rest on April 26, 2020 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ.
Born on May 3,1955, Keith was the son of Beatrice H. and the late Mervin R. Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Kei'ja Johnson and a sister, Merva Brown.
Keith was raised and educated in Florence, NJ, and was a 1973 graduate of Florence Township Memorial H.S. He was employed by NJ State Corrections as an officer where he retired after 25 years of service. A diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, Keith loved all sports and during his leisure time you could often find him on the nearest river bank fishing. He also loved people and entertaining guest, evidenced by his many massive cookouts, feeding anyone that stopped by, and yes, he was the master of ribs! Keith was also a devoted father and grandfather.
In addition to his mother, Beatrice, he leaves to cherish his memory daughters: Sonyae Johnson of Salisbury, North Carolina and Kedra Johnson of Burlington, NJ; son, Keith R. Johnson,Jr. of New York; former wife Saundra (Bowker) Johnson; beloved siblings Dallas Johnson of Martinsville VA, Reginald Johnson of Florida, Brad Johnson (Wisteria) of Shipman VA, Maureen Johnson Hudson of Durham NC, and Dean Johnson (Huslinda) of Bloomington IL; 5 grandchildren Anthony, Londyn, Aviyana, Karter, Romeo and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to COVID 19, the family is considering a Memorial Service later this year.

Howard Joseph Jackson
Howard Joseph Jackson, affectionately known as Bobby, was born on September 25, 1950, in the District of Chovey, Portland, Jamaica to the late Ada Adina (nee Grant) Purrington and Ernest (Norman) Walton Jackson. Howard grew up in the adjoining district of Chepstowe, before he went to live in Port Antonio. There, he attended the public-school system until he emigrated to the United States in 1966. Howard attended West Philadelphia High School and upon graduating, attended the Community College of Philadelphia. In 1971, Howard joined the United States Marines Corps and served in Vietnam. Upon his return from serving overseas, he completed his four years of active duty service in 1975. In that same year, he became employed by the Department of Defense and served as a member of the base police force until he transferred to the United States Mint in Philadelphia, PA in 1977. He remained there until his retirement in 2013. Howard rejoined the Marines as a reservist and in 1990 was called to active duty to support Operation Desert Storm. He loved the Marines and served for 22 years before retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant. In April 1971, he met Fay Donaldson and they married in 1974. From that union, they had two daughters, Trina and Monique. In April 2000, he married Sharon Salmon, and from that union they had one daughter, Brianna. Howard was a very jovial person who loved people. He loved his family and cherished his relatives. He even had special nicknames for them. Howard was loved by everyone who knew him. One of his favorite activities was going on fishing trips with his cousin, Carl. Howard loved Red Stripe and Heineken beer and was a Rum Punch connoisseur. At the annual family reunions, you could be sure to see him with a Red Stripe or Heineken and some jerk chicken or pork. Howard leaves to cherish his memory loving wife, Sharon; children, Trina (Marc), Monique, Nastassia, Brianna; grandchildren, Anthony, Daija, Rizin, Ayanna, Davin, Dylan; aunts Eula, Inez, Rosiann; siblings Devon, Patrick, Denise, Jean, Sonia, Lois, Thomas, Douglas, and Joan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He also had a younger sister, Phyllis, who predeceased him.

Wendy Latonya Jackson
Affectionately called Mima by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Wendy Latonya Jackson was born June 15, 1971, in Melbourne, Florida where she attended Florida public schools until she was six. Wendy became a resident of Englewood, NJ at 6 years old; and in 1990 graduated from Dwight Morrow High School.
Later in life Wendy moved to Lake Wales, Florida, and in 2005 found the love of her life Roderick Jackson. They married April 6, 2012. Outgoing, Sassy, Smart, and witty; Wendy easily stole the hearts of those who knew her. Wendy’s smile, loud laughter, and larger then life personality was contagious; to know her was to love her.
Wendy transitioned from this life on April 26, 2020, Preceded by her older brother Samuel J. Lamb. Wendy is survived by her loving husband Roderick Jackson, parents Pearlie, Willie Cooper, Samuel Lamb (Biological), grandparents Harrison, Lillia Cohen, siblings Mike (Alicia), Mark (Kyla) Cooper; Wanda Lamb, in-laws Mary, Willie Nickels, three brother in-laws. Last but not least her beloved child and grandchildren, Desiree L. Wilkins, Lorenzo L. Davis, and Dakari L. Johnson, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Marjorie Ann Taylor
Marjorie Ann Taylor (also known as Mommy, Sis or Nana ) was the oldest of ten children born to John and Ruth Mays. She blessed the world with her presence on December 15, 1940 in Buckingham County, Va. and graciously departed her life on March 26, 2020.
At the tender age of 18, Marjorie moved to Brooklyn, NY where she met and married Charles O.Taylor (deceased) on September 2, 1961. There they raised their two daughters Melva and Deirdre until 1972 at which time they purchased a home in Willingboro, NJ to give the family what they considered to be a better life. On June 20, 1977 (father’s day) Marjorie and Charles gave birth to their son, Charles Omarr Taylor. Although, she made the move to NJ she continued to commute to work in Manhattan NY until she retired in 1990.
She leaves to mourn, her daughters Melva and Deirdre, a son Omarr, four grandchildren, Chartay, Nikko, Te’layla, and Ty’saya and a host of other’s that lovingly called her Mommy or Nana. In addition, she leaves five great grandchildren, Chartay Jr., My’Taya, Christian, Aria Taylor and Aminah Bracey; her two sister’s Joyce Taylor of Willingboro, NJ and Patricia Lewis of Burlington, NJ. She also leaves four brother’s Melvin, Vernon and Ronald Mays of Buckingham County, Va. and Lester Mays of Texas. Lastly, she leaves to mourn, a host of niece, nephews, cousins and many, many God Children.
Although she displayed a tough exterior, she was a warm compassionate and loving woman that will desperately missed by all.

Hester Rebecca Curry Cobb
Hester Rebecca Curry Cobb, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1922 in Whitestone, Virginia. Hester was the second of nine children born to Louise and Kendle Curry. She enjoyed the first seven years of her life in the small fishing town. When she was nine years old, the family moved to Roebling, New Jersey where her father was employed at the John A. Roebling Steel Company. They moved into a corner house on Railroad Avenue that was only a few blocks from the plant.
Hester attended the Roebling School System prior to starting her first job at the Fort Dix, New Jersey. There she worked in the Food Service Division of the United States Army. She used to take the bus early in the morning and returned home late in the evening. To better herself and to cut down on travel time, she took a job closer to home at the Stacy Trenton Hotel in Trenton, New Jersey as a domestic worker. Several years later, she began working at the Trenton State House as a “Dessert Chef” preparing all the desserts for the State Assembly and Senate Members. She worked there until she retired in 1975.
Hester attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Bordentown, New Jersey. At the age of 13, she gave her life to Christ under the pastorate of Rev. Braggs. As a member of the church, she became a dedicated member of the Volunteer Gospel Choir. She continued her membership in the church under Rev. Coleman. He served her communion at her home monthly when she was unable to attend church. Until her death, she always mentioned that her favorite song was Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross and her favorite gospel singer was Mahalia Jackson.
Hester loved to cook and enjoyed making delicious desserts. In addition, she loved to take care of sick people especially family members. If, she wasn’t taking care of them, she was visiting and helping the poor. Under all circumstances, Hester really cherished helping people!!! Most importantly, she treated everyone the same regardless of race, creed or color!!!
In 1939, she married her first husband Lester Johnson. Then in 1970, she married the love of her life the late Rogers Cobb. They lived in Bristol, PA. She and Roger helped raise three grandchildren, Cindy, Roger and Cornelius. Years after Roger passed, she moved to Marcella Duffy Senior Citizen Home in Florence, New Jersey. She stayed there until she was unable to care for herself. Then in September 2019, she moved to the Marcella Nursing Home in Burlington Township, New Jersey.
Hester enjoyed music and loved to dance. Mostly importantly, she loved to laugh. She always had a smile on her face. Periodically, she often quoted various saying about going to Heaven. She believed in God and showed it by the way she lived her life. She was a kind, understanding and loving person to all who encounter her.
Hester was preceded in death by her parents Kendle and Louise Murray Curry and siblings Norman Curry, Zelnar Curry Baxter, Albert Curry, Kendall Curry, Margaretta Curry Pratt, Howard Curry, Ernest Curry and Herman Curry. Her only surviving sibling is Doris Curry Dobbins of Florence, New Jersey. Hester is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few dedicated friends.
Hester Rebecca Curry Cobb is gone, but she will certainly never be forgotten!!! We love you and will miss you dearly.

Katherine Lynn Morris
Katherine Lynn Morris of Burlington, NJ passed away peacefully into God’s loving and eternal care on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Genesis Burlington Woods Nursing Home. She was surrounded by her nurse Lisa and aides Zina and Elizabeth. She was even surrounded by her sister Romaine via on FaceTime.
Katherine Lynn Morris was born November 20, 1959, in Mount Holly, NJ, to Clarence and Pearl Morris. Katherine was affectingly known as Candy to all her family and friends. At an early age Candy accepted Christ as her Savior. She attended St. Peter’s Primitive Baptist Church of Burlington, NJ and was baptized by the late Elder Honest H. Hawkins. Candy sang in the Youth Choir and her favorite song was “I Made a Vow to the Lord”. She was employed at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Moorestown, NJ up until she suffered from a stroke. Candy was a resident at Genesis Burlington Woods Nursing Home for 15 years.
Katherine was preceded in death by her mother Pearl L. Morris-Blakemore, father Clarence Morris, Jr., sister Sylvia Dixon, brother Darrin Keith Morris, niece Daveida Wallace and brother in law; Tawine Kirkland.
Katherine leaves to cherish her fond memories: son James Morris, 4 sisters, Romaine Hendricks (Roy), Marcella Wallace (Anthony), Shonta Locklear (Donald), and Caroline Kirkland; 4 brothers, Clarence Morris 3rd (Victoria), Rodney Morris (Angelina), Benjamin Morris (Renee) and Michael Cain, granddaughters Katherine and Semaj Morris; nieces & nephews, Chisoni Jackson, Laurence Fisher (Keisha), Mini’imah Fisher, Pastor Eddie Spencer (TaNisha), Antoinette Wallace, Michelle Wallace, Clarence Morris IV, Derrica Hunt, Christopher Morris, Austin Morris, Danae Dixon, Christian Morris, Grant Morris, Pearl Joy Locklear and Donald Locklear 3rd; several great nieces and nephews, 3 great-great nephews and two great-great nieces; several aunts, uncles and a host of cousins.
A very special thank you to the staff at Genesis Burlington Woods Nursing Home for the care they gave Katherine over the years.
Due to the COVID-19, a celebration of Katherine’s life will be held at a later date.

DeAsia L. Drake, born on May 18, 1990 was called home at the age of 29. DeAsia spent her childhood through High School in New York before relocating to Georgia and finally settling in New Jersey. While in New York she attended the NY Public School System and graduated from Law, Government and Community Service H.S. in 2008. She continued her education at Long Island University. Shortly after arriving in Georgia she began working at Wells Fargo as a Teller for 3 years. She then moved to NJ to be closer to family. She proudly became a Mother to Siaani in 2013. In 2014 DeAsia started working for NJ State Superior Court in Trenton and then was promoted to Administrative Specialist I in Camden, continuing that position to the present.
DeAsia enjoyed fashion and music. She always had a drive to one day own her own company and be her own boss. Everything in her life was dedicated to Siaani. She was predeceased by her Father Robert Drake, Grandmother Marvel and very special cousin Davell. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Siaani (Barker), her Mother Yolanda Mason, her Grandparents James and Barbara Williamson (nee Drake) and her siblings DeAndre and Dalina Garcia as well as many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, too numerous to count.

Thais Edna Major (nee Rosser) was the first black baby born in the basement of the Dover Delaware Hospital in 1924 to the Late Wyard and the Late Edna Rosser who died shortly after giving birth. Thais was an only child, raised by her father and her beloved Aunts: Isabel, Lenny, Irene and Mary Rosser.
Thais was educated in the Burlington City School System and later graduated from nursing school. After 34 years of service, Thais retired from nursing at the Burlington County Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, NJ. Thais was the proud mother of Thais Elizabeth Morton. In 1954, she married the late Michael V. Major and from their union, two pre-deceased daughters: Yvonne and Michelle Major.

Kevin Laroy Graham
Kevin Laroy Graham was born on January 3, 1961, in South Philadelphia, Pa, to Ronald Graham Sr. and Myrtle Graham. He departed this life and was welcomed into the gates of heaven on April 8, 2020.
Kevin completed his elementary education at Meade Elementary School in North Philadelphia, and his secondary education was completed at John Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia.
After graduating high school, Kevin enlisted in the United States Army in 1978, where he specialized in Infantry and Air Assault. While serving our country, Kevin had been promoted to Specialist 4 Sergeant, then subsequently enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1985, and completed his military career in 1990.
Kevin was employed temporarily with his uncle, Robert Miller, and in 1991, he began his career at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Philadelphia Pa, where he worked in dietary services.
On November 3, 1989, Kevin welcomed a son, Kevin L. Johnson-Graham, and lovingly doted on him until his tragic death on October 28, 2001.
While employed at the V.A.M.C, Kevin met the love of his life, Lynda Claitt, and from day one, embraced her two daughters, Nicole and Shawnte as his own. Lynda and Kevin were joined in holy matrimony on May 6, 1995, and were happily married until his departure.
Kevin was a man of God, and always looked for opportunities to share his faith and life lessons with the many people he came in contact with. He loved his family with all his heart, and he had a special love for all of the kids.
Kevin had a big personality and a heart of gold. He was most known for his humorous antics, as he always kept everyone laughing and smiling. To be in his presence was an unforgettable privilege, and we will forever miss our “Bernie Mac”.
Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Graham Jr., son, Kevin L. Johnson-Graham, and grandmother, Dorothy Miller.
Kevin leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Lynda J. Graham, daughters, Nicole Hunt (Leonard), and Shawnte Coles; parents, Ronald and Myrtle Graham; siblings, Norman Graham, Frank Graham, and Eleanor Wise; grandchildren, Shawn King Jr., Nia Lloyd, Nicolas Hunt, Lynae Hunt, Nathaniel Coles, Krystopher Coles, Mykaila Hunt, Leonard Hunt II, Malachi Coles, Marissa Hunt, Josiah Hunt, and Zoe Hunt; great-grandchildren, Carter King and Seth Henderson; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Eric Warren
Eric Warren was born on July 28, 1960 in Mt Holly, NJ to the late Charles Lindsey and Gladys Mae Warren. After a brief illness, he departed this life April 7, 2020.
As a child Eric accepted the Lord as his personal savior. He was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington under the leadership of the late Reverend Richard Jones.
Eric attended the Burlington City School system, graduating in 1978 from Burlington City High. He continued his education receiving an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from Edward Williams College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Eric was previously employed at ER Squibb as a computer analyst, Burlington County Jail as a Corrections Officer, Burlington City High School as the Attendance Officer and head of security. Most recently Eric was employed at Deborah Heart and Lung Center as a Security Officer until his disability.
Eric enjoyed spending time with his family, laughing, listening to music and watching sports. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Yankees. Eric had a green thumb and had a love for plants and pets. One of his favorite tv shows was Bonanza as he always wanted to visit a western ranch. He was the head coach of a championship Burlington City Pop Warner football team. He had a generous heart and a loving spirit. He was a foster parent and mentor to many children. He had a profound impact on his community and will be greatly missed.
Eric married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life Robin Gardner on October 6, 1984. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife Robin Warren, children Eric (Monique), Sherae, Bijon and Dasamere Warren. Grandchildren; Jordan, Alivia and Irving. Aunt Lucille Morton. Siblings; Melissa Sharpe, Donna Warren, Kim (Ron) Coney, David Warren, Keith (Gloria) Warren and Zachary (Carla) Warren. Mother-in-law Lorraine Gardner. Sister-in-law Taiiko Warren and the late Deshelle Gardner. Brother-in-laws Melvin Chapman Sr, Kirk, Rodney and Deshawn Gardner. Godchildren: Ayesha Randolph, William Page, Jarvis Cephas and Andre Thomas. Dear friend Keith Crump, bonus son Kevin Burr and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eric was pre-deceased in death by his parents, siblings; Ronald, Charles A., Carlton and Basil Warren, Marva Chapman and Geraldine Morton.
Family is having a private service at the T L Hutton Funeral Services. Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Gertrude Brown-Milligan, was born on January 1, 1936, to George Mays and Kizzy Richardson-Samuel. Gertrude was the second oldest of 6 children {Ruth, Pearline, Sarah, David, Willie, and Shirley}. They were raised in Clairton Pennsylvania and later moved to Brooklyn NY, Brownsville.
Shortly after moving to Brooklyn New York Gertrude became employed with New York City utility company, Consolidated Edison Company Of New York Inc., where she retired after 30 years of service.
Gertrude married Leroy Brown. On May 12. 1955 Gertrude produced a daughter Wanda Brown-Harrell. On May 17, 1956 Gertrude produced a son Anthony Brown. Leroy and Gertrude divorced.
Gertrude accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. On Easter Sundays she would worship at her mother’s church, Holy House of Pray under Pastorate Rev.C. in Brooklyn, NY. This was Kizzy birth celebration. On August 11, 1996, Kizzy Richardson-Samuel was called home to be with the Lord.
On May 19, 1982, she married Joseph Milligan Sr., whom she shared 32 years of marriage before his transition to be with the Lord on November 26, 2014.
For 36 years Gertrude was a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church under the Pastorate Corey Jones and Deacon Samuel Coleman. Her number one love was for our Lord and Savior. She also had a passion for home decorating, watching sports with family and friends, cooking, entertaining, and traveling.
On March 24, 2020, Gretrude (a.k.a. Gertie) was called home to be with the Lord. Her cherished loving memories are survived by; children Wanda and Anthony; grandchildren Eleifer, Binaca, Keenan, Kamiyah, Ka’Oria; great-grandchildren Zipporah and Zaire; siblings Pearline, David, Willie (Cynthia), and Shirley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Loretta Faye Ball (Winfield), 81, of Willingboro, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her residence
Born in Newport News, Virginia on January 4, 1936 to the late Jacob and Rose Winfield, Loretta was one of four children, two of whom preceded her in death during her youth. She attended Huntington High School in Newport News. As a young adult, Loretta received Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior. She enjoyed attending social events and dancing with her older brother Theodore. Their smooth moves won this dancing duo several awards and local recognition.
While attending a dance at the nearby military base, Loretta met her beloved husband, Alfonza “Al” Ball, an avid dancer who swept her off her feet. On September 12, 1959, the couple entered into holy matrimony and remained devoted to each other for forty-seven years. Out of their union three children were born: Anisah (aka Andrea), Theodore “Ted” and Tonya.
Loretta took pleasure in life as an Air Force military wife and dutifully raised her children while they travelled to each base Al was stationed. They lived in Sacramento, CA, Hampton, VA, Panama and Willingboro, NJ as Al was stationed at nearby McGuire Air Force Base. Upon her husband’s retirement from the Air Force, they settled in Willingboro and Loretta worked at the McGuire Base Exchange as a sales clerk, which she enjoyed. She later went on to work at East Park Pharmacy in Willingboro as a cashier where she eventually retired. Loretta and Al developed lifelong friendships with many military families in the area and others, and would often host parties, cookouts and card games.
Loretta is preceded in death by her husband Alfonza Ball, parents Rose & Jacob Winfield, sister Mary Ellis, brother Theodore Winfield, nephew Belvin Ellis, and niece Vermond (nee Ellis) Fisher. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her three children Anisah (Bruce) Coppin, Theodore (Nancy), Tonya (Gabe) Ball-Zaro, 4 grandchildren: Hakimah Shahid-Ikhlas (Muhammad), M. Ahmad Shahid, Tashelle Ball and Jacob Zaro. She leaves 4 great-grandchildren: Nasir, Nailah, Saadia and Samiyah Ikhlas, and a host of other family members and friends. She also leaves her best friend and sister-in-law Vernee Ball Gibbs, whom she spoke with almost every day, her dear friend Leslie Villatoro, and her two devoted caregivers, Carie Bishop and Estelle (Peaches) Watkins.
Loretta served many different, lasting roles throughout her lifetime; she was a daughter, a devoted wife, a caring mother, a loving “Nana,” a dear aunt and a special friend to so many who will dearly miss her.

Sidney Louis Jackson Jr.
Sidney Louis Jackson Jr., affectionately known as P-Nutt, was born February 7th, 1981 to Marsha Jackson-Conley and Sidney Jackson Sr.
Sidney served as the Vice President of Iconz M.C., through this position he was able to combine his love for motorsports, charity and spending time with close friends.
On April 3rd, 2020 Sidney completed his earthly assignment and made the transition into eternal peace. His memory lives on through his parents, Marsha and Randy Conley and Sidney Jackson Sr.; siblings Fonda Jackson, Shari Lloyd, Courtney Kizee, Felicia Jackson, and Dylan Jackson.
He is also remembered with love by his cousin Jennifer Kelly, as well as his niece and nephews Cameron, Jackson, and Messiah, Goddaughters Kirsten and Illiana; and a host of family and close friends.
