Kirk Walter Wilson was born into this life on September 18. 1959 in Fort Dix New Jersey to his loving parents Wallace and Gertrude Wilson. Kirk was educated in the Burlington County school system and attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School.
He entered the United Stated Marine Corp in 1979 where was stationed in El Toro California. He proudly served his Country until his Honorable discharge in 1982.
After returning home to New Jersey, Kirk began working for Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ. Kirk, was a dedicated employee for over a decade before beginning his career with the United States Postal Service until he retired in January of 2020.
Kirk met the love of his life, Jacqueline Patterson-Wilson, in 1982 and they were married in 1986 in Cherry Hill NJ. Kirk was a devoted husband and assisted in her care until her passing in April of 2018.
In 2018, he joined IGLESIA NI CRISTO (The Church of Christ) and was a faithful member and regularly attended Sunday services and Bible study. Kirk's faith remained strong through his entire journey of his a diagnosis and leaned on the word of the Lord.
Kirk loved his cars, and he had many! He enjoyed going to car shows, concerts in the park and hanging out with his family and friends. He enjoyed Soul foul Sunday Dinners, and was a relentless fan of the Seattle Seahawks!
Kirk departed this life peacefully on Thursday January 7th, 2021 where he was surrounded by close family and friends.
Preceding him in death were is parents Wallace and Gertrude Wilson, his loving Aunt Margaret Carty and Cousin James Jones (Marianne). He leaves behind his nephew and Godson James Patterson, Sister-in-law Jennifer Patterson, best friend Glenn Broy and loving niece Ashley Coleman and a host of other family and friends.
Kirk was an amazing soul that will remembered and sorely missed by every life he touched.
Celebration of Life for family only will held Saturday, January 16, 2021 10am Public walk through viewing will be 9m-10am at the TL Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services, 869 Beverly Road, Burlington, NJ.
