Arleane Diane Howell (Hancock), of Culpeper, Virginia, left us suddenly on May 26, 2020 at the age of 57. Born on September 16, 1962 in Madisonville, Virginia to Samuel Dug Hancock and Martha Hancock (Johnson).
Arleane graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School, where she met the love her of life, William Howell Jr. Life would take them on separate paths for a period of time but were later rejoined and married on August 2, 2003.
Arleane had a flare for style and fashion, which led her to attend Wilford Beauty Academy after high school. Upon graduation, she began employment at Grim Industries where she excelled in the electronic field. Arleane’s career path would lead her to work for Sprint, spending many years again in the electronic industry. With her love of fashion, Arleane held a part time job at Fashion Bug, ensuring all her family and friends were dressed to impress, and rarely bringing home a paycheck as she owed Fashion Bug for her ever-changing wardrobe.
Arleane shared a special relationship with her brother, Samuel Brian. She often told many stories of their childhood and cherished all the memories of their road trips and times spent shopping to ensure he was dressed to the nines. She often laughed about how she would run and hide when she heard him coming on his big wheel when they were children, but later cherished their time spent together, once he was old enough to hang out and drive her around town.
Arleane accepted God at a young age. She was a member of, and Baptized at Second Baptist Church, Mt. Holly until the time she relocated to Culpeper, Virginia. At the time of her relocation, Arleane became a member at the Free Union Baptist Church, where the Reverend Keith D. Sherard would state that Arleane brought life into the church and was a cherished member until the time of her passing.
Arleane was predeceased in death by her father Samuel Dug Hancock. She is survived by her Loving and Faithful husband, William Howell Jr. of Culpeper, Virginia; her mother Martha Hancock (Johnson); brother Samuel Brian (Kira); stepchildren William E. Howell and Dreanea Howell; 4 step-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who she thought of as family.

Brenda Tooles Patrick was born to the late Florida L. Tooles-Johnson and the late William T. Tooles on August 31, 1941 at 125 East Pearl St. Burlington, New Jersey. She departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2020, after a lengthy illness.
The oldest of 17 children, Brenda was raised on Pearl St. She was educated in the Burlington City Public School System, first at William R Allen School then at Capt. James Lawrence Elementary, where she was 1 of 10 children to integrate the city’s school system. At a very young age Brenda attended Second Baptist Church with her grandmother and younger siblings. She was baptized by the Rev W.I. Wright in 1959. On February 1, 1957, she married the late Victor Patrick, who was in the U.S. Army, from this marriage six children were born.
After years of being a housewife, a member of the American Legion Post 336 Ladies Auxiliary and The Elks Club. Brenda took a job with the Burlington City School System where she retired in 2014.
Fondly know as Ms. Brenda, she was a woman who looked at people she encountered as family. She was the neighborhood mom who loved to cook, the big sister who taught you right and wrong, a strong independent woman who guided you down the road called life, the drill-team mom and sports-mom as she cheered you on in whatever you were doing.

Barbara (Bobbie) Maxine Everett was born July 26, 1939 in Camden, NJ to Beatrice Booker Everett and Andrew Everett; she was the youngest of two children.
Bobbie went on to glory on May 19, 2020; at the ripe age of 80. Bobbie never let her physical impairment of cerebral palsy stop her ability to experience life. She attended the Davis public school in Camden, NJ until age 21 where she learned to type.
Bobbie loved God and was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Camden, NJ.
She would ride public transportation to shop in Philly and Cherry Hill in her younger years and liked to hang out with her aunt Nancy and sister-in-law Daisy. She often spent summers hanging with the Buffalo, NY, Booker-Neeley clan. She can be remembered for her attention to family birthdays and her typed cards and letters, which often contained $2 bills.
She was a very devoted aunt and great-aunt, babysitting and attending many holidays and celebrations of life. Her joyful smile, rarely-complaining spirit, and sassy disposition made her a joy to be around. She loved 60’s music, especially the sounds of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. She could eat a good meal, even though it took her hours. She liked to dance and was known to cut the rug even in her wheelchair. She was the spice of Silver Care Center for 19 years where gentlemen callers would compete for her attention.
Bobbie is survived by her aunt, Nancy Arndt; three nieces, Andrea (Richard) Lynch, Cecelia (Ronald) Judge, Montrea (Carlton) Verlander; 9 great nieces and nephews, 7 great-grand nieces and nephews; a close cousin Cynthia Wade of the Everett clan; close cousins Carla Y. Neely, Robert Neely and Lorene Neely-Kemp of the “Buffalo Crew”; close friend, Cathy Wood; and large host of extended family and friends.
Services were held at the convenience of the family on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Interment: Sunset Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ

Sandra Ann Jackson is the daughter of Lois M. Carter-Cleveland and the late Major L. Carter. Sandra was born in Camden, NJ on June 16, 1948 and departed this life on May 12, 2020. She was 71.
She graduated high school in Waynesville, MO and received her Associates Degree in Business Education from Burlington County College in 1982. She was employed by the Federal Civil Service and later retired from Burlington County College.
Sandra accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at age 13 and attended Mount Zion AME- Fenwick, Mount Zion AME-Swedesboro, Friendship AME-Browns Mills, Union Baptist Temple-Bridgeton, First Lady of Saint Paul Baptist-Cinnaminson and Saint Mark Baptist-Browns Mills. She maintained an active presence in all of the churches.
She was past member of OES#23-Bordentown, NJ, Princess Leah Associate Conductress and conductress, Herons of Jericho, Ester to Associate FIHA 113, Ladies of Perfection, past Secretary of District 5 OES, the Federation of Colored Women’s Clubs, Club Ebonettes- State Financial Secretary.
Sandra is survived by her mother Rev. Lois Carter-Cleveland, step-father Deacon Robert Cleveland, Sr., son Andre L. E. Byrd and wife Diana, grandchildren Gabrielle DiSerio (Sean) and Andre Jr. “AJ”, sisters Mary Jenkins, Barbara Forman, brother Robert Cleveland Jr. and many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Many people called her “Mom.”
Gone before her was her beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Alvin A. Jackson, grandmother Edith Fauntleroy, grandfather Percy Wilson, aunt Pearl Taylor, aunt Pearl Bernice Smith, uncle Edward Frisby, uncle Daryl Wilson, aunt “Tene” Wilson, great grandmother Mary Emma Wilson and brother Michael Cleveland.
A special thanks and appreciation to the staff and doctors of Inspira Medical Center-Mullica Hill for great care and TL Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services for arrangements.

Virginia Ivy Livingston, a devoted mother, was born on August 21,1936, to the late MacMillon Livingston Bey and Margaret Green Livingston. On the morning of May 12, 2020, surrounded by family, she transitioned to be with the Lord after a long illness. She was the oldest of four children. Her brother Eugene Stafford preceded her in death, as well as, her first great-grandson A’Darrius Lavon Livingston.
Virginia was born in Newport News, Virginia. As a child, her family relocated to Little River, South Carolina. Washington, DC later became her home. She eventually moved to Trenton, New Jersey, her home for more than 60 years. Her final move was to Edgewater Park, New Jersey to be near her children.
Virginia attended a night school program offered by the Trenton Public School District to complete her goal of obtaining a high school diploma. In 1980, with much pride and the admiration of her family she graduated from high school with her only son, Winston. What a proud moment this was for her. This led to the furthering of her education at Mercer County Community College where she took various certification classes. For more than 30 years, Virginia was employed by the State of New Jersey – Department of Labor - Unemployment Insurance and Disability and happily retired in 2002.
Virginia was a faithful member of the Friendship Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She served with the Nurse’s Unit for many years, as well as, other church auxiliaries. In 2011 and 2015 she was recognized by the church with the Strength of Christian Warriors Award. She loved her church and taught her children the importance of worshipping the Lord. She attended church regularly where she sat in her favorite seat until her health prevented her from continuing to do so.
Virginia loved to shop and could often be seen in her favorite stores Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Boscov’s where she would get good deals on her shoes and clothes. She was a woman of style and could pull off the look of any hat that she put on her head. She was a cleaning fanatic and hardy ever was a speck of dust found in her home. As the saying goes about a floor being so clean you could eat off it, that was the case at Virginia’s house.
Memories of Virginia will be cherished by her children, Germaine Hill (Kenneth), Margaret Livingston, Virginia Bellamy, Winston Livingston (Roslyn), Mila Stevenson (Roger), Renee Wilson, and Robin Livingston; her two sisters, Mildred Omar and Geraldine Stafford; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a special aunt who was more like a sister, Carrie Lee Hemingway; a very close cousin Doris Bellamy; special friends, Bessie Vines and June Jacobs; a host of other family members and friends; and her beloved pastor
Rev. John R. Taylor and the entire Friendship Baptist Church Family.

John Harvey Mitchell Jr. was born on May 23rd, 1968 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, to the late John Harvey Sr. and Joan T. Mitchell. He grew up in Philadelphia ,Pennsylvania where he developed many lasting memories.

A Time To Learn
​
Johnny received his initial Elementary Education through a Private School, Christ Memorial Episcopal School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After the family relocated to Willingboro New Jersey, he completed his primary and secondary education in the Willingboro Public School System. During High School, he was active in basketball and track. In his adult years, he attended Word Of Grace School of Ministry, graduating from their Bible Institute in 2014.
A Time To Unite

After many years of dating and courting, Johnny married Randi Ellen Little, on December 30th, 2017. Together they shared six children. Three daughters Taniesha, Jaliesha, and Johnese and three sons, Elijah, Jaquan, and Joshua.

A Time To Change
​
Johnny received the Lord at an early age at Hedges and Highway Pentecostal Church, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under the pastorate of the late Oliver A. Washington. After relocating to Willingboro, New Jersey, he became a member of, Christian Faith Assembly in Hainesport New Jersey, under the Leadership of Apostle Dr. Maurice Randolph Sr. During his adult years he relocated to Dallas, Texas for five years, and later returned to New Jersey. Johnny loved the Lord and had a beautiful relationship with Him. He spent many hours in the study of God’s Word, and in communion with God, especially during his time in Texas. Johnny developed over the years, an in depth knowledge of God’s Word, and he enjoyed the numerous times he sat with his mother asking questions, and having long theological discussions.
A Time To Work

Johnny was multi-talented, and well versed in many skills. His primary vocation was that of a Certified Forklift Operator. He worked over the years in several large corporations in New Jersey and Texas. He also was skilled in Masonry and worked for G.W Lippincott Co., in Mt. Holly New Jersey. Johnny also worked with his brother in Auto Detailing and his father in Landscaping.
A Time To Remember
​
Johnny was a dynamic, awesome, young man, who was vibrant, intelligent and full of life. He had all the attributes of a born leader. He had an upbeat, outgoing, charismatic personality, that could communicate with people at all levels. Johnny’s smile was contagious, and it was impossible to stay sad in his presence. Children loved him because he could relate to them so easily. Adults loved him because he could change the atmosphere to smiles, laughter, and fun. Johnny loved people and was always there for anyone in need. He gave so willingly of himself, his time, and his talents.
A Time For Family
​
Johnny loved his wife Randi, and his heart’s desire was to make her happy. He worked hard at being a good husband and provider. He loved his children and was always excited about their goals and accomplishments. He could not wait to share, when they had good and exciting things happening in their lives. He had a special love for his grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye. Johnny loved family and was raised to appreciate the family bond. He was close to his brother Danny. They worked and served the Lord together in Texas and learned to appreciate one another's talents and gifts. In church Johnny played the keyboard and Danny played the drums and they were a powerful duo. Johnny loved and honored his mother and did everything to be a blessing anyway he could. He was very close to his siblings and talked about them all the time, Danny, Cherese, and Jennell, along with, George, Darrell, Valerie, and Nicole, who were more like siblings to him than cousins. Johnny had such a way with young people. He was able to relate on their level and in their world. His nieces and nephews loved him so much and saw him as much a brother as he was an uncle. Living at his mother's house allowed him a lot of time with his sibling’s children, Natalia, Quincy, Naqirra, Daniel, Chuck, Quanel, Jemel, Nielah, Yasmine, Malachi, and Tiana. That time together, created memories that they will cherish forever.

A time For Fun
​
Johnny was totally in touch with his inner child. As a child he was infatuated with “Marvel Comics,” and later, as he moved to the big screen, he devoured all the contents. Johnny knew the origins of every Marvel Comic that was made, and could recite the words as the movie progressed .He also loved Star Wars, NASCAR, and Video Games. On any given afternoon you could find Johnny playing a driving video game, while chewing his tongue. Johnny’s top three passions were riding Motorcycles, The Philadelphia Eagles, and Roller Skating.

A Time For Brotherhood
​
Johnny had one biological brother, Danny. However, if you asked him, he would say he had 8 additional brothers, Rob, Andre, Eric, Maurice, Richard, Rodney, Kevin, and Stacey, and two bonus brothers, Michael and Kirk. They all were very close. They practically grew up with Johnny and Danny. Together they formed a Roller Skating, Break Dance and Singing group. These same young men in their adulthood formed a Motorcycle Alliance. Most weekends you could see them riding, and enjoying the open road.

A Time To Depart
​
He was preceded in death by his father, Jo.hn Harvey Mitchell Sr., and his mother in-law, Pearl Ree Little; and his spiritual brother, Leroy Abdual McDaniels (aka Doc).
​
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Rev. Dr. Joan Mitchell; his wife Randi Ellen Mitchell, three sons Elijah Mitchell, Jaquan and Joshua Jenkins; three daughters, Taniesha Diaz, Jaliesha and Johnese Mitchell, eleven grandchildren, three siblings; one brother Daniel S.(Bianca) Mitchell, two sisters; Cherese D. (Michael) Mitchell and Jennell Q. (Kirk) Johnson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Susan Emma Wells Miller was born August 31, 1924 in Greenlyville, SC to the late Gentry and Ella (Berry) Wells. She was the first born of their union. Susan transitioned peacefully to eternal life on May 11, 2020. At a young age, the family moved to Sharon Hill, PA. Susan was educated in the Darby Township public school system. In April of 1943 she married William A. Miller.
After Susan and William were married they lived in Sharon Hill, PA, and from their union was born four children, Janice, Florence, William (Bill) and Jonathan. William served in the Air Force and Susan was a devoted military wife and mother. She traveled the country and overseas with her husband and children until his passing in 1970.
Susan moved to Willingboro, NJ and made a loving home for her and her family for forty years. There she made many friends, became involved in the community and her church First Baptist of Mt Holly that she so loved, and also loved to travel. In her last five years, Susan resided at Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park, NJ.
Susan was a loving wife, mother, and an exceptional friend to all who came in contact with her. Susan will sadly be missed by all. She left a void in the hearts of her loved ones. Susan, we loved you much, but God loved you best.
Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband William A. Miller Sr and she leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters Janice Watson and Florence Williams; two sons William A. Jr; and Jonathan; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; an uncle; nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.

Barbara Jean Gary Jones was born in Montgomery, AL to Nathaniel Williams and Carrie Phillips on July 19, 1944. Barbara, was a member of Bethel AME church and was very active and demanded her children be active as well.
Barbara was a very talented seamstress from a young age and shared her talent with others throughout her life. Barbara opened her own business on April of 2017 called “Bob Child Boutique”. She was also a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
One of Barbara’s greatest joys was spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and opened her doors to her family every Sunday so they could be together. She was very affectionate and crazy about her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, James (Buddy) Jones, mother, Carrie Williams, sons: Anthony Gary and Tyrone Gary, grandsons: Raheim Moore; Timothy Hills, Jr. sister, Arden Perpall, brothers: Nathaniel Williams, Fred Williams and Melvin Williams.

On Sunday May 3, 2020 our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully guided one of His Precious Angels Ruebin Larmore to his Heavenly Home. Ruebin son of the late James and Shirley Larmore was born on December 4, 1962 in Mount Holly, New Jersey he graduated from Willingboro high school in Willingboro New Jersey in 1981.
Ruebin was employed by the city of Philadelphia as a maintenance worker until his declining health would no longer allow him to do so. Ruebin was also self-employed for many years and owner of Larmore Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Services. Ruebin had a passion for music and was a very popular and loved DJ in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. He was well known for his house music and old-school mix tapes.
Ruebin accepted the Lord as his personal savior at a very early age. He was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church, Beverly, New Jersey under the Pastorate of Reverend George Shafer. He later became a member of new Jerusalem Temple of the living God under the Pastorate of the Apostle Sharon Robinson. Even as his health was declining Ruebin managed to press his way to church as often as possible with the assistance of his brother Tony.
Ruebin was an athlete and loved all sports and excelled in baseball and basketball. He loved to go to the local courts and always enjoyed a good pickup game.
Predeceased by his father James Larmore, mother Shirley Larmore, sister Valerie Larmore, sister Diane Larmore, brother Kenneth Larmore, niece Shirley Larmore and nephew Kenneth Larmore. He leaves to cherish many fond memories four brothers; Rodney (Adrianne), Donald, James “Tony” (Roslyn), and Eugene (Nadine). Godmother Patsy McGee, two great aunts, Priscilla Richardson and Francis Conway, and longtime friend and companion Pamela Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dorothea Frances Warrick, better known as Dori, was born to the late Joseph and Dorothea Hooks on May 22, 1940 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Dori transitioned to Heaven on May 2, 2020 and is at peace.
She met and married William (Bill) Warrick on March 19, 1960. From their union, two children were born, Bryan and Tracey. Dori was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who would light up a room with her infectious smile, self-confident presence and ebullient personality. While Dori loved and enjoyed spending time with her children and five granddaughters, she was also a true Pennsylvanian - an avid lover of all sports. She also enjoyed playing bingo and doing crossword puzzles.
She was a 1958 graduate of Chester High School, in Chester, Pennsylvania where she was a 3-year star on the basketball team for the orange and black mighty Clippers. Dori made history at Chester High, as one of the first two African-Americans on the majorette squad. She was Homeroom Secretary and Homeroom Vice President, Vice President of the Girls Athletic Association (GAA), and a member of the Chester High School Senate House of Representatives. Her high school friends remember her as a funny, warm, jovial, outgoing person who always had a cheerful word for anyone she encountered.
Dori worked in personnel at McGuire Air Force Base in Wrightstown, New Jersey, where she retired after 35 years of devoted service.
She was a fierce patriot who loved her country, and those who served to protect our freedoms. Her love of the military and the military life led her to faithfully serve in the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 336 of Burlington, New Jersey and the 8 & 40 (an organization supporting veterans and active military personnel of the United States armed forces). During her service tenure in these esteemed groups, she rose to the rank of President at the local, county and department levels of the American Legion, and was a leader in the 8 & 40 organization as Chapelle. Dori put her heart and soul into working for these organizations and the communities they served.
Here to continue to celebrate Dori‘s life are her children Bryan Warrick; Tracey Warrick; daughter-in-law, Royce Warrick; future son-in-law, Glenn Moore; five granddaughters - Tiffany Warrick (Brianna McLaughlin), Blair Warrick, Tyra Booker (Cameron McManus), Taylor Warrick and Peyton Warrick; and a host of other treasured relatives, loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothea Hooks, and her husband William Warrick. Mom/Mom-Mom/Dorothea/Dori, our hearts are heavy, but joyful as well knowing your soul is resting in peace with God, and your warrior mantle has been laid to rest. We love you.

Sherman Keith Stephens, 61, of Newark, New Jersey died on 17th May 2020. He was born to parents James and Fannie Stephens, on 21st October 1958 in Caswell County, North Carolina.
He attended Vailsburg High School in Newark, NJ. He worked at Rivera Logistics as a Shipping and Receiving Manager in Secaucus, NJ for 15 years and was loved by many in his community throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Stephens and his Father James C. Stephens.
He is survived by, Daughter, Latasha Stephens of Newark, NJ, Son, Keith Keon Stephens of Atlanta GA, Mother, Fannie Stephens of Mebane, NC, sister Tiwana K. Stephens, brothers Rex and Randy Stephens and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His interment will be June 17th, 2020, 10:30 am, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1137 North Broad St. Hillside, NJ 07205.
