ADDIE MAE (Medley) JONES, age 87, of Willingboro NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Daughter to the late Joseph Henry & Mary Medley Sr. Addie was born in Turbeville Virginia. She worked on the family farm; went to the county school(s). She moved to Philadelphia in 1955. In 1957 she got married. Widowed to Mason B. Jones Sr. Moved to Camden NJ in 1959. Mother to six children, Jennifer (Artie) Hooser; Mason B. Jr; Colette (David) Belton; Paulette (Ricardo ‘Rick’) Alexander; Howard W. and Anthony L. Jones. In 1965 the Jones family moved to a new home in Willingboro, NJ. While raising her own six children; Addie babysat and cared for seven other children in her home. When her youngest child entered the first grade, Addie decided to work outside of the home. Addie was employed with the Willingboro Board of Education. After being employed for over 40 dedicated years of service Addie retired in 2008. Addie enjoyed spending time with family, reading, crossword puzzles, gospel music, cooking and crocheting/needle point.

Our strong, beautiful and caring mother and to others as a grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend will be truly missed by her family, relatives and all that knew her.
​
Due to the current COVID situation private funeral services and visitation for family only will be held under the care and direction of T.L. Hutton Family & Friends Funeral Services of Burlington, NJ 08016.
