James A. Gist III

​

James A. Gist III was born on October 30, 1991. He passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

​

James was born and raised in Willingboro, NJ. He was a graduate of Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) Class of 2009 and Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Class of 2010. He had also attended Kean University in 2018.  James was employed for the past several years by B&H Photo.

​

James loved life and was living it to the fullest.  He loved cars, music, traveling, his motorcycle, paintball and he was a huge sports fan.  Most importantly James loved spending time with his children AJ and Gerald, as well as his family and friends.    

James was very stylish and loved his Nike’s.  His smile could light up a room.  One would never be sad around him because he had a way of making you feel like everything was going to be alright.  His comedic attitude would be sure to have you laughing.  He saw the good in everyone and was always willing to help. His drive and ambition made everyone around him want to do better and be better.  

 

James was predeceased by his maternal great grandmother Marian Jordan and his maternal grandfather Jerry Allgood. Paternal great grandmother Jimmie Warrior.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his beloved mother Gale Allgood-Patton (Scott), father, James Gist Jr. (Sophia) and Linda Hart-Patton. Sons - Gerald Pogue and Alijah Gist.  Fiancée Samantha Frazer. Siblings  Jacoby Patton (Irene), Miles Patton, Alexis Rhodes and Mia Rhodes. Aunts Sondi Mitchell (Mike), Nicole Jordan, Frances Moore, Janeen Allgood, Sumayya Savage – Richardson (Bobby), Jerri Ricks (Brian).   Uncle Julian Gist (Jennice). Fur baby Nova.
